Wash and cut the ends off the bottom of the asparagus. Usually about an inch, but if you bend them they will end up breaking in their natural place where you will need to discard. Heat your skillet and pour in olive oil. Place the asparagus in pan and cook until desired tenderness – usually about 5-8 minutes. Don’t forget to stir every now and then and if needed you can always add more olive oil if the pan is looking dry.
