Make cake following directions on the box and bake in a 9x13 pan. When cake is finished poke holes throughout the cake using the end of a wooden spoon. Next, mix gelatin and boiling water and pour over cake while still hot. Let the cake cool.

1 package orange cake mix - (I used Betty Crocker white cake mix because my grocery store did not have orange).
1 3 oz. package orange flavored Jell-o
1 Cup boiling water
1 package instant vanilla pudding (another mistake I made– I did not use instant so I had to make the pudding).
1 Cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp orange extract
1 8 oz container of cool whip
For the topping combine instant pudding with 1 cup of milk and whisk. Then stir in the vanilla and orange extract. Next gradually combine the Cool Whip with the pudding. Once combined, spread topping over cake.
Refrigerate for one hour.
Hopefully this works for you and you enjoy it.
