A Duncan Hines Recipe
Prep Time: 30 Minutes
Cook Time: Cook cake accordingly to Box – Usually about 30 Minutes
Refrigerate Time: Minimum of 4 hours
Clean Up Time: 10 Minutes
Total Time: Forever - At least 5 hours
1 Package of Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Strawberry Supreme Cake Mix (Box Cake usually needs 3 eggs, 1/3 cup water and 1/3 cup vegetable oil)
10 oz. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed.
1, 3.4 oz. package vanilla instant pudding
1 cup milk
3 cups cool whip (about 1 package)
Fresh strawberries - As many as you want.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 9x13 pan. Bake cake according to package. Cool for about 15 minutes. While cooling, puree thawed strawberries in blender. Then poke holes about 1 inch apart in the top of the cake using a wooden spoon or drinking straw. Next, pour puree over cake and let soak into holes. (There may seem to be an excess of puree so use as much as you desire). Cool cake in fridge for a minimum of four hours. While cake is cooling, make topping. Mix together pudding mix and 1 cup of milk. Then add whipped topping. When cake is cooled, spread topping over cake and garnish with fresh strawberries. Store cake in fridge until ready to serve.
